Talk Show Host Joy Behar Marries Longtime Boyfriend

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Joy Behar has married longtime boyfriend Steve Janowitz, Access Hollywood has confirmed. The redheaded comedian and Janowitz married on Thursday in New York City. She was married Thursday night and will talk about it on The View and her HLN show, The Joy Behar Show, on September 6, Behars rep at HLN confirmed to Access. Her rep added that Behar was now taking some couples time. She is currently on her honeymoon, the rep noted. Behar seemed to address the news on Twitter late Friday night, writing, Gone fishing. Behar and Janowitz have been a couple since the early 1980s, and she regularly referred to him as her spousal equivalent. Behar actually broke off an engagement to Janowitz in 2009, back when she was about to start her HLN show. Im getting my own talk show on HLN, so I dont have to get married anymore, she joked at the Friars Club back in June 2009, according to the New York Daily News. Actually, I got cold feet again, so I dont know what Im going to do, she added, at the time. Its off the table. Whatll happen is, when I decide to do it, Ill do it, and then everybody will know I did it. I cant make up my mind.
