Movie on dvd about kids in high school joining a gang?

I recently saw a commercial online about a movie thats now on dvd
about asian high schoolers quitting school and joining a gang. the
main actor in the movie has longish blonde hair and dresses preppy.in
the commercial it explains the movie in a 3 step process. i assume
this is an american film since i live in the states and i saw it on an
american website fyi. can someone please tell me the title of this
movie please
