what is that lifetime movie about a young girl who is abused by her step-dad.?

i think it was based on a true story. i think it is in the south too
but im not sure. anyways her stepdaad abuses her and her mother does
nothing about it. when they are at a party her family members see the
welps from the belt they beat up her mom for letting here stepdad
abuse her daughter then they beat her stepdad for beating his step
daughter. he would also beat her for the simplist things like not
putting up his jacket.
